Emu Productions Logo Ideas

Here are the three test logos that we made in order to come up with our final design.

Tom

I wanted to keep my logo relatively simple as we are planning on becoming a independent film company and as I have seen from other film openings independent companies have simpler logos to go with there company. If I made something more extravagant then it would not represent the film in the right way. Keeping the Emu in the logo was important to me as it makes it memorable and is very iconic for our company.

I created this logo through a program called "Serif DrawPlus". I used the keyframe animation feature in the program to make the picture of the Emu movie across the screen. As you can see my animation is made up of 4 keyframes. This keeps it short and simple.

I decided to keep my logo very simplistic as I felt this reflected our independent company. I made this logo in Serif DrawPlus, using a keyframe animation. It does not have sound as we decided to only add sound to the log that we would use in our actual film opening.

The image of the emu is important as it represents the company and the final image should stick in the audience's mind.

My logo is a keyframe animation I made in "Serif Drawplus". My animation is fairly simple but it shows both the name of our production company and a image that audiences can use to remember our company with. I have used the same font that we are planning to use in our final film opening so they are both connected in someway.

This screenshot shows the timeline in Drawplus. As you can see it is made up of 4 keyframes and is only 6 seconds. I made sure it was sort since after researching into other logos I noticed they are around 5-10 seconds long depending on how big the company is (independent or mainstream).

My logo is fairly simple but it's effective. I wanted to keep it this way since our production company is independent and simple logos can sometimes be more memorable.

We have decided that we will not use these logos for our final movie since none of them fit the theme we are going for. For our final logo we will make it fit the theme of our movie whilst still making the emu relevant.

This is the logo we will use for our final cut:

This logo better suits the genre as it is very simplistic and it fits better with the Tower Productions logo.
